The ideal situation is to have the Aligned Flamer Boxed mod and multiple EPRs with reflex sights. You can then roll the EPRs and only apply the box mod to the one with the best effects. There is a farming method for the Enclave Aligned Flamer mod but it requires fallout 1st, private server, and at least three characters.

However, I still recommand the non-enclave Version (-10% damage) for players who are not fully dedicated to the Enclave-Plasma, wich can take days and weeks to find the right gun and mods while the vanilla can be crafted, turned into pistol or rifle, flamer or automatic in seconds.The auto barrel might be considered commando though. Btw it’s worth it. A good enclave flamer build is ridiculous. Definitely requires rifleman though. If you don’t want to go through the hassle of getting a proper enclave flamer first try the normal plasma rifle. It’s still awesome and got me into the hunt to begin with.

I decided I would try to farm for one of the elusive Enclave Flamers now that they can be made legendary, and as luck would have it, after about 4 hours of serving hopping and events last night, I was able to get one. My first legendary roll made it a vamp/50% vats HIT/ 50% slower break.
