This slide also fits the hex pin reinforced frame, however the serial numbers do not match. The frame bears the ownership stamp Bw of the German Bundeswehr.They have Dot in Circle factory QA stamps and one has a four digit serial number on the slide and barrel. I believe at least some of these were unissued military & police contract P38/P1's that were diverted to the commercial export market after the reinforced slide version was deployed.
